Chelsea Flats — 157 Chestnut Street, Chelsea, MA 02150 — Video Tour

157 Chestnut Street, Chelsea, MA 02150 · Chelsea Flats
This one-minute video, published July 31, 2022, introduces 157 Chestnut Street — the Chelsea Flats. Filmed during pre-construction marketing, it presents fourteen brand-new luxury condos with garage parking, a roof deck and a media room, ahead of a planned spring 2023 delivery and pre-construction sales beginning that fall.
The Chelsea Flats is a new-construction building of fourteen condominiums. The building guide records two-bedroom, two-bath homes ranging from 904 to 1,786 square feet, with GE Profile stainless appliances and quartz counters in the kitchens, in-unit laundry, energy-efficient heating and air conditioning, and custom tile in the bathrooms. The building includes a video intercom system and an elevator, one deeded parking space per home, a common roof deck and media room, and a pet-friendly policy. Original marketing priced the condos from $549,000 to $699,000.
The Flats stands on Chestnut Street in Chelsea alongside its sister building, the Chelsea Cathedral at 163 Chestnut, and the two were marketed together. Jeffrey Bowen’s register records the Chelsea Flats homes selling through the spring of 2024. The pair followed an earlier Chelsea church conversion in his record, the Thomas Martin Lofts, which the building guide points to as the project’s predecessor.
