This video was filmed while One Webster was still under construction, and it records the Webster Block taking shape on its Chelsea site. Jeffrey Bowen walks the development as the building rises, introducing the mix of apartments and commercial space that the project was bringing to the neighborhood. As a construction-period tour, it preserves a stage of the development that no finished-property video could show.
One Webster is a development of 120 residential units anchored by several commercial spaces below, built by Synergy Corporation. The property post for the project places it at 1 Webster Ave, at the intersection of Webster Avenue and Eastern Avenue, between Stockton Street and Spencer Avenue. The residences were offered as market-rent studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, and the finished development looks out toward water views of Chelsea Creek.
