Published on November 4, 2012, this is one of the earliest property films in the program: a presentation of three condos for sale at 150 Franklin Avenue, a conversion on Soldiers Hill in Chelsea. The selling point arrives before any room does — the views, over Boston and the Tobin Bridge.

The three homes were meticulous conversions, finished with brand-new kitchens and bathrooms, new plumbing and electrical systems and air conditioning, and dressed with hardwood floors and recessed lighting throughout. Unit 2 was pitched as the most convenient of the three, with no stairs to climb and parking right in front of the door. Sunday open houses ran from eleven to one as the condos launched.

Soldiers Hill is among Chelsea’s best-regarded neighbourhoods, and the address works hard for commuters: the commuter rail — one stop to North Station — is a short walk away, and the bus picks up on the corner. The film dates from Jeffrey Bowen’s years heading the Russell Realty Group’s Chelsea practice. Because the video tours all three condos together, and the surviving record is a single-unit one, no one MLS number is attached to this page.
