The house is a turn-of-the-century Queen Anne style Victorian that had fallen into disrepair before being converted into two homes, and the walkthrough moves through both, room by room.

The conversion kept the old-house character — polished wood floors, angled dormer windows and tall Victorian proportions — and paired it with new kitchens built around granite islands, stainless appliances and pendant lighting, updated baths, and decks off the living spaces. Jeffrey Bowen’s register records both Lawrence Street condos selling in the summer of 2013, weeks after this video and its companion listing post went up.

Lawrence Street is one of Chelsea’s older residential streets, lined with the big Victorian houses that defined the city before its loft and condominium era.
